Trimterra Development Corporation acquires, repurposes and redevelops under-utilized commercial real estate. Applying our unique blend of commercial, development and construction expertise, we work to make each project a creative, collaborative and positive experience for everyone involved, from investors to owners to tenants.

 

Founded by three seasoned Ottawa entrepreneurs, Trimterra succeeds by embracing the complex issues that face real estate developers. With a significant combined project portfolio, our principals have the vision, financial experience and demonstrable technical capabilities to develop and manage marquis sites.

JOHN MIERINS

 

John has been involved in Ottawa business his entire career. As a leading automotive industry executive, he is the principal of The Carling Motors Group of dealerships. A Graduate of Ottawa University and The London School of Economics, John brings sound commercial experience in the development of Trimterra Property. John is actively supports many local organizations in the arts, education, healthcare and minor sports.

DUNCAN MCNAUGHTON

 

A Civil Engineer with 20 years’ experience in major capital projects, real property planning and technology infrastructure solutions. Duncan was the founder of a major professional services group and brings the high level project management experience in project delivery. Having originally emigrated from Scotland in 1993, he has rapidly grown as an entrepreneur and business leader, achieving recognition from the Ottawa Business Journal as one of Ottawa’s 40 under 40 top executives, and accepting membership to the worldwide Young President Organization. Duncan commits significant time to his charitable endeavours and coaching youth sports.

DENNIS LAURIN

 

Dennis is the founder and principal of Laurin Construction Group which has offices in Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary  and Montreal. Laurin Group is a significant builder in the ICI (Industrial Commercial Institutional) market in the province and has been the recipient of numerous national industry awards for project delivery and implementation. Dennis grew up in Ottawa and obtained his industrial electrical trade qualification then completing a Civil Technology program at Algonquin College with additional professional studies through Dalhousie University. Dennis is a committed supporter to a variety of area philanthropic causes and a recipient of a Governor General Commendation and The O.P.P. Commissioner’s Citation for Bravery.
